Burger Bus

Let us take you back to Santa Barbara, CA. The year is 2016 and Michael and Cheryl Gardner had a dream to take an old abandoned short bus and turn it into the burger catering capital of the world. After a few months of building out the truck Michael and Cheryl headed for higher pastures on the roads of Colorado. If nothing else Michael and Cheryl proved that not all things transplanted from California are unwelcomed.

As the page flipped to 2019, the Burger Bus came under new ownership. Jacob and Jill Ibarra were “hungry” for a challenge. As industry veterans combining for a few decades of burger flipping experience Jacob and Jill took the humble beginnings of their proud predecessors and built an amazing empire. It was by no accident that the Burger Bus slowly grew into a household name. Customers were leaving the truck daily with wide smiles and full stomachs.

Eventually in 2021 Jacob approached Food Truck Avenue looking for a home for his burger empire. Jacob and Jill were off to Wisconsin to live closer to family. This is where we proudly took over and look to continue the legacy of the Gardner’s & Ibarra’s. Today, The Burger Bus, proudly drives through Denver with all our sister concept creating memories and experiences to last a lifetime.
